OUR STORY

From a small idea to a growing community.

STEM Without Barriers began as a student-led initiative — a small group of peers who noticed that the students who most needed STEM opportunities were often the ones with the fewest doorways in.

We started with free resources, grew into workshops and mentorship, and now connect learners with the people, programs, and possibilities that help them see themselves in STEM.

What started local has become a remote community serving students everywhere, built on a simple belief: every student deserves the chance to explore and thrive.
